TGPR – No Frills Time Trial Cold but WORTH IT!

SEDIV Time Trial Drivers, workers and PDX drivers ran under overcast skies and cold winds for a weekend of racing at Little Talledega Gran Prix Raceway in Munford, Alabama.

Seven New SCCA Track Records were set :  Craig Farr DSR, Bruce Funderburg SRF, Michael Garoust SSP, Leon Drake SU, Ken Owens EP, Thomas Dyer SM and John Barnett ITB.

PDX sessions ran smoothly and 4 new Time Trial licenses were granted through the Time Trial School : Nate Wimbrow and Steve Williams in the Spec Miata, Zach Gobeille in the Red CSP Miata and Michael Tablas in the Silver CSP Miata.

Congrats to all competitors and those who braved the cold to volunteer and work to make this event happen. Thanks to TVR and Alabama Regions for joining forces to make these TGPR events twice per year and to Brett Whisenant and Andy Tow for serving as Chief Driving Instructor and Safety Steward.
