Who's your favorite professional driver past or present? Have to mention three: Mark Donohue who set the mark as a driver/engineer, Dan Gurney for all his achievements and humility, Hans Stuck for his "on the limit" driving talent and sense of humor.
Tell us about your latest race car purchase? The Caldwell D9 back in 1985 (it takes me a while to dial a car in)
Favorite road to drive? The one leaving Murfreesboro for any event I'm attending.
What's next for your racing plans? To try to remain competitive against all the "kids", as long as possible.
Anything you'd like to share about yourself, motor sports, your experience? Well for four decades now, I'm so thankful for the many friendships I've made and the great people, both amateur and pro, I've met through this great sport.

Stan always has a mischievious grin and a sparkle in his eye but if you need advice or help, he is one of the best resources you can find. Thanks Stan for all the help you have been to drivers getting started in time trial and hillclimb. Thanks for the warmth and fellowship. You have earned the title "The Southern Gentleman" and you are widely considered one of our finest Southern Drivers.
